Automated cleanliness inspection – SITA control system for your production

Stable and efficient parts cleanliness requires continuous control of the cleaning result and monitoring of the process media. Timely interference and effective (targeted) control of the cleaning process prevent malfunctions within the process chain of parts’ cleaning.

SITA Messtechnik GmbH presents the innovative fluorescence measuring system SITA FluoScan 3D for automated cleanliness control of parts at the parts2clean 2016.

For many years cleaning experts worldwide have used proven SITA fluorescence measuring technology including hand-held devices for cleanliness control of various shaped parts and part specific inline measurement with high throughput.

The new control system SITA FluoScan 3D is a universal system solution for contact-free cleanliness control uniting advantages of both approaches. It realises the automated inspection of parts with high measuring value density.

The integrated measurement and control software supports the easy and flexible adaption to new part geometries and measuring tasks. Several parts can be positioned on the worktop and measured successively by Multipart-Scan. Slightest traces of contamination on parts are detected easily and reliably by using the characteristic feature of organic substances such as oils, greases and surfactants to fluoresce when excited with ultraviolet light.
