Determination of cleaner or surfactant concentration using surface tension

Step 1

Analyzing different concentrations with the help of the AUTO-mode to determine a bubble lifetime (bubble frequency) that allows optimal differentiation of concentrations (highest distance of measuring points).
For this example a bubble lifetime of 30 ms is most suitable.

Step 2

Recording of a reference curve (surface tension above concentration) at the determined optimal bubble lifetime (30 ms) with 7 to 9 differently concentrated approaches as shown in the picture below.

Step 3

Measuring the surface tension of the sample with an unknown cleaner concentration in ONLINE-mode or in SINGLE-mode with the determined bubble lifetime (30 ms).
Based on the reference curve the corresponding cleaner concentration is assigned to the measured surface tension (influence of free cleaning-active surfactants).
